Mortgages
Before we can begin searching for a mortgage on your behalf, we need you to answer a few questions to help us determine how much you can afford to borrow and what kind of mortgage product will be most suited to your needs.
Get startedStart things off by having a chat with one of our mortgage brokers. It’s a great opportunity to discuss your finance requirements in more detail and get an understanding of what kind of mortgage product is most suitable for your needs.
It can often be helpful to talk to our advisors before attending any viewings, as you will have a better idea of the kinds of properties you can afford before you venture out into the market.
After gathering all the necessary documents and paperwork – and confirming that everything’s in order – we’ll let you know exactly how much you can borrow.
We’ll also offer you a free Agreement in Principle, which proves your eligibility for a loan to lenders.
Next, we will search a comprehensive range of first charge regulated mortgage contracts from over 65 lenders across the market to find the mortgage that ticks all your boxes. We’re not tied to any one lender, so we may consider smaller, more specialist providers as well as the big names and High Street banks.
Our brokers are members of the Sesame network, which means we have access to some of the most competitive products and services available.
Leave all the paperwork to us! Our advisors will present your case to your preferred mortgage provider, bringing together everything they need to make their decision.
It’s a nail-biting time for everyone, even those who have moved house or invested in properties multiple times – but we’ll be on hand to keep you calm and talk you through any challenges or setbacks that might arise.
Before your contracts are exchanged, we’ll talk to you about your protection needs. We can source all mortgage protection products, from income protection insurance plans through to critical illness cover... and more.
Our dedicated team of in-house protection specialists will present you with a range of options and help you settle on the policy that most suits your circumstances.
Once your contract has been signed, all that’s left to do is wait for your completion date. Most purchases complete between 1-2 weeks after exchange, but this will very much depend on the vendor’s position, as well as when your solicitor will be available to complete the transaction and arrange all the necessary payments that need to take place before the property is legally yours.
